I also work from home and spend a lot of time with him on the house training and taught my husband and children exactly what to say when taking him out: hit the bells & say "outside", we walk out the door first by making him sit, then we release him with the words "let's go". He stays on a leash and we repeat "do your business" until he does, if he does he gets a treat, love and praise and then we let him off the leash to play and run. He is also on a strict meal schedule so we know when he will need to go. Right now any time he hits the bell we let him out and we only give him 2 minutes on the leash to do his business in a small area of the yard. The 3 times he has peed in the house, he has wet the mat right in front of the door and that was our fault for not watching his que's. He was at the door so I know he was trying to make it outside.
Let me just say kudos to you!!!! This is amazing. I have been reading & re-reading your post. It just seems so overwhelming, but I am gonna give this a try. unfortunatly, i don't work from home, but i'll give it a try. Congrats on the success of your baby.
