Remember to check what the specific airline under seat measurements are as they vary. You can turn some carriers on their side to fit but make sure there is good air flow. Also some states require a health certificate from your Vet dated no more 7-10 days before travel and you must notify the airline that you are traveling with a pet as they only allow so many pets to travel in the cabin per flight. You must check in at the counter to pay their fee and to get their boarding tags attached to your carrier.
