Pulling the ear hair is important because it can hold on to moisture and lead to an ear infection. I use ear powder and hemostats (for the hair I cannot get with my fingers). I found it very helpful to watch a few youtube videos on it before doing it. Neither Callie nor Sammy acts like it bothers them. Sammy grows very little hair in his ears but Callie grows ear hair like crazy lol.
