I've always used hemostats. I haven't had to do this with Tink yet. But, I did it many times when I was working as a vet tech. The hair in the ears doesn't have the same deep roots like hair elsewhere so dogs don't feel much discomfort. In my experience, the dogs didn't mind the hair pulling...they hated having to hold still! LOL |
