I had a similar issue with mine. I knew the BB sits higher on the back because I had seen my friends' yorkies with them on. I was lucky enough to buy it in person and have them help me get the right size for Kaji. It does mold to their little body, you just have to break it in. I bought the little leather wraps and Kaji wore it during the day over a t-shirt. We love it now!! He's a puller and a fear runner. I no longer have to worry about chaffing from when he pulls, or him possibly escaping from the harness. (he could get out of all the ones we had before) I love how low it sits in the front. No where near his little neck.
