 RIP GiGi 1997?-2012
One year ago I got a call from our local shelter about a little girl abandoned by her family at our local PetSmart salon. Went to the shelter and the rest was history. Out stepped a tiny diva estimated age 14 yrs- 3 1/2 lbs, with no lower jaw,several mammary tumors and the most horrible "groom" I'd ever seen, but despite all that GiGi toddled over to me and demanded to be picked up and never stopped talking to me. Whether it was to comment on something or to demand her meal,snack or a trip outside she had something to say!
Yesterday afternoon GiGi crossed the Bridge.
I made her promise to wait there for me. Those people who left her at PetSmart? They never knew what they lost that day.
Love you little girl,thank you for sharing your final year with me. |
