Just curious about why do you want to spay her now?
I am sure if she is in good health otherwise, it is probably not a problem. As to whether they ever stop going into heat, I have read that dogs do not go through menopause like we humans do. That is all I know.
I would have your vet evaluate her health and maybe evn discuss some less invasive procedures like tubal ligation to make the surgery easier on her since she is so old. |
