The male determines the sex of the puppies so some males could throw more males than females or vice versa but in general I don't think more males are born. However females are in more demand so you could probably find a male puppy easier than a female as they aren't as high in demand so it may make it seem like there are more males than females.
My Destiny had an equal amount of male and female pups. Trixie was the same way. Harmony had one litter that was just two girls, so no males for her. So females out numbered the males in my case. I know a couple breeders that are the same way, more females than males. |
