After reading such great things on this forum about Bully Stix, I went out and got some for Bubba. I bought him the Merrick brand and let him have one on two separate occasions.
First... Wow they stink
I mean, oh my it smells like, well exactly like what it is! No big deal, if he likes (actually loved) them and they will aid in his teething I'm all for it.
Okay, now the dilemma, I took a couple of days off to make sure they agree with him, his #2 business seemed a tiny bit slimier but otherwise fine. Then earlier I noticed little scabs on the insides of both his ears, like dried little pimples. Our vet is closed until Monday, I have been putting Animax ointment on them and wonder if it is an allergic reaction to the Bully Stix.
I haven't noticed any more scratching than usual, he'll scratch at his harness or jacket, top knot when I snuck one on a week ago. It is tender to the touch, he pulls away and attempts a soft bite.
Has anyone else ever encountered little pimple-like bumps on their baby's ears?
