Carmen is right in the need to account for each of the placentas and knowing as much as you can ahead of time about the number & size of the puppies. Also, panting after delivery is normal for a new momto some extent, even for days after delivery. Are you certain that Jade CAN'T go potty.........or is it that she is just anxious to get back to her puppies & does not WANT to go outside to potty? New mommies do not like to be away from their babies for very long, especially first time mommies. Many things to think about and take into consideration, but always..........................when in doubt, call your vet. Go with your gut instinct if you suspect something might be wrong. Better safe, than sorry.
