Hi all. So dex turns 1 next month
and he is about 3.5 lbs or so and I don't assume that he will get any bigger...
Anyway, I have had him on TOTW high prairie since I got him last May. He likes the food but the particles are a little big for him! He has a tiny mouth!!!
When I was in feeders today I saw the new TOTW puppy formula which is also high prairie . I bought it. My question is... Since he is technically only a puppy a little while longer, is it ok to start him on the puppy formula?
I compared the statistics of the two and the puppy one has a little lower protein level and fat content.
I would honestly like to leave him on this since the kibble is more manageable for his little mouth. Is this a bad idea?
