When you have a litter and live in cold weather you can kill the litter by taking them out, she should call if she really thinks is something wrong, this is where experience comes into play. a litter needs to be at a constant 70 degrees. panting and nesting after a litter is normal to certain point, my girl whelped 2 weeks ago and she still nesting..I hope she has a mentor to call and maybe to get the mentor to come over, whelping is a very complicated process.
