Dogs and cats both will eat grass. It is actually good for them and they get vitamins from it. The only problem is the grass that is best for them is not always what is available. The reason they get sick after eating the grass is because of the type of grass it is, most grass in our yards is Serrated and that is the reason they throw it back up.
Get some rye grass seeds and plant it in a pot. Take a pair of scissors and clip off some of the grass and they will eat it like crazy and will not make them sick like the johnson grass that is on our lawns or the Kentucky Fescuse.
Wheat grass, rye grass can be mixed and the blades are not serrated and they can digest it much easier. |
