It depends for me. For Bouncer, I give him a modified Sch. cut in the summer, cut it even into a puppy cut in early fall, then let him grow all winter until it gets very, very warm in the spring. With yorkies, it's all about what YOU want. try searching for lots of pictures of different cuts. The picture forum on here is great for that! And be sure you tell your groomer EXACTLY what you want. I can't tell you how many times I have customers come in who are unsure or tell you one thing, but what they're saying is completely different from what they want.
