A barge with 20 people on board hit this bridge last night,knocking out 2 long spans of it leaving only the two ends..there was 4 cars on the bridge when it was hit but luck was with them, the first car missed going off by 1 or 2 feet when he realized what was happening, and got the other cars stopped in time

no one was hurt even though portions of the bridge fell onto the boat..this was 15 miles from where i live and we cross this bridge every week

How terrible. Luckily no one was hurt. What was the person in charge of that barge thinking?!
