I'm so very sorry for your loss of Shay, Vicki. I'm sure that was heartwrenching, and it is exactly what I was so fearful of last night. Bless Shay's little heart, and may she rest in peace and serenity.
I reread my post and I sounded like a blubbering buffoon, but I was scared out of my mind. I've since moved all of the pills to the bathroom medicine cabinet (where they should be anyway) instead of the kitchen. I go in the bathroom and shut the door plus take them over the sink now. I should have thought to do this before, you'd think it is a bit of "well, duh!!"...but for me it wasn't.
What I find SO weird is that I was at Shakespeare's breeder's home the other day (checking out the puppies and preparing to get one) when we had a discussion about dropping pills. She's the one that brought it up, actually. I was thinking in my head.. "Well I'M never gonna do that, I'M careful!!" ........... talk about a humbling moment.
