Hi, I was wondering if anyone has advice on cutting or shaving a small yorkies hair. She has a lot of energy and I used to calm her down by having her chew on a treat in my hand. Right now she is having a lot of health issues and we are trying to rule out food allergies. Because of that I can no longer give her the treat to calm her down so I can shave her. Any advice on other tricks on getting them to relax? Im a little nervous to take her to a groomer because my aunts yorkie had to get stitches because of their groomer and I am over protective and hate having to leave her there all day
. So Ive been trying to avoid that and have been doing it myself for a year a half.
