Hey everyone! I have a 9 week old puppy and I've been crating him at night and while we go out. And he hates it. He cries and cries. First of all, I know he is supposed to go in on his own, but he won't. It doesn't matter what toy or treat you try and bribe him with. So I put him in all the while telling him how good he is. I can't leave him out- I have three cats that aren't used to him yet and the crate is the safest place for him. So for his own protection, he has to go in. I've tried having the crate in the room with us which only makes it worse. And i ignore him when he cries and only take him out during the rare quiet moments- so not to encouage his cries. Any suggestions? I feel so bad for him.
