When I stumble across something like this (an appearance item) I always ask myself these questions:
Do I like it that much?
Will my dog wear it comfortably?
Can I afford it?
Will it cut into any other expenses that are necessities?
If the first three answers are yes, and the last answer is no...I then let my husband know (he works, I don't, and I believe it's fair to tell him). If he's all good with it (and he hasn't NOT been yet!) ...Then I buy it!
I say go for it. $50.00 really isn't a lot of money for a collar that he or she will use for a long time.
