I neglected to mention...Bella is a Yorkie mix, and her ears were floppy for the first three and a half months. Then...one day I was making meringue for a pie. I turned the mixer on full speed (I don't know about everyone else but the meringue I make doesn't do anything unless the mixer is on high).
In any case...it was the first time I'd used the mixer since we got Bella. It scared the living daylights out of her, and ever since she's had erect ears.
...true story.
No, I am NOT a breeder, but I wanted to put my two cents worth in here, since I've been informed by very reputable breeders regarding Yorkie puppy ears.
