Congratulations of your daughter's birth!! When you are holding the baby and Chip is nearby, do you talk to him and pet him so he feels like he's still getting your attention? It's so hard to know what they are thinking or feeling. When my oldest son was born, my beagle was 11 years old and whenever I was holding Michael, I would pet Benji (the beagle) and talk to him so he felt like he was included. Good luck! |
