Tried watching Crash but couldn't make it past the scene that was so disturbing. Again, I know I need to, so will make it a point to watch it soon as well. |
One of the reasons I've seen so many good people movies is that I make a point of watching older movies that were nominated for an Oscar at least once or twice a year. I don't always like them, but I figure if they were up for an Oscar they can't have been too bad. One I really hated and turned off part way through was the Brad Pitt movie The Assassination of Jesse James. I love westerns, but that movie was crazy boring. I loved The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. Interesting concept and well acted/written.
You will need tissues for sure for Crash and Schindler's List. I've watched the latter about 4 times and every single time I cry my head off at the end and feel the need to go save people!!!
