I'm sorry that you had a bad grooming experience at Petsmart. I took Bridget there once and never went back - AWFUL! It really does take time and experience to find a groomer you are happy with. When we lived in California I tried several and didn't like any of them - one lady in Livermore, CA charged me $45, kept my baby in a cage for 3 hours, gave her a sloppy trim and barely brushed her out and then she got mad when I didn't want her to to put a bow in her hair - all her bows were cheap and ugly! Luckily, the first groomer I tried when I moved to Utah is FANTASTIC. He's a private groomer, does only one dog at a time and is reasonably priced. When you go to a new groomer, make a list of exactly what you expect and show a photo of the cut you want. You're paying good money for the service. You should get exactly what you want! Good luck! |
