Nutrical should really only be given on an as needed basis. Learn what the signs are for hypoglycemia and be ready to intervene when necessary.
If Brutus is not eating, then it can be an aid to get his appetite going. Like the others said...it is important to eat puppy food after to sustain his glucose level.
I think the amount is very small....just a tiny bit on the end of your finger...pea sized.
