Members have told me persistance!
If I put it on over his harness before I take him out he doesn't pay attention to it because he is so distracted by the outdoors or running/playing. After we are inside awhile he goes back into a pouting mode where he will hardly move or hide out of reach. So I have been taking it off after awhile for now because I just can't have him getting under things and unable to lure him out for HOURS.
My puppy isn't aggressive about it, just acts sad. One other benefit of putting the sweater over his harness is the added protection and reassurance that he can't slip out of the harness. |
