Lola is very independent and always on the move, LOL I swear my yorkie group must think she doesn't like me since she seems to want no part of me at a meetup. She just romps with all the other dogs that dare to get off their owners laps, but as soon as she thinks I am headed for the door she is by my side. She does not like to be cuddled for more than a few moments, but likes to be very close by, now she is under my desk chair. She has a lot of hair so perhaps she gets warm if to close. I have had two males that were polar opposite, one that could be cuddled and kissed all day and one that turned his face away and wanted his own space. My other female seemed to like to be cuddled but then when she was about 14 months I got a male puppy, she was never the same after that, my husband said he thinks she never forgave us. She did not get mean just a touch more aloof. To me I have not noticed much difference between male and female, but all mine have been neutered by 6-7 months. |
