I sometimes take photos off the Internet to show others... for example, in my quest for a Biewer, I search and save photos on my hard drive -- but only to use in the event I actually go through with it; I want some photos to show what I want (like Erin's Gus Gus)
My graphic designer friend took all of his wedding photos off of a site and took off all the watermarks. Sorry to peeve any photographers on here. He didn't sell enough photos, so he didn't get his wedding album for free.
I used to put a mark on my photos, but now I don't. I do not see the point in it. I mean, for example...
Erin, if you put your e-mail address or soemthing across Gus' photo, I could just go right over it and put mine. It's kind of scary to think about, especially with photos of children.
I know of a bunch of instances where young girls 14 or 15 stole photos of babies from babiesonline.com and made webpages pretending that they were their own babies. the point? Not sure.
