For me as well....and dog friendly (here) means outdoors where I prefer to sit anyways. I keep a blanket in my car so I can wrap up on chilly nights if the establishment doesn't have those ginormous heaters
(on the opposite end of the spectrum, it its summer time I sit by the huge misting fans
