I have always been the one who fills the bowl up, ( maybe 1 cup) and occasionally a little more if I notice it is gone, But lately,,I've noticed Bailey is getting a little THICK,, daddy has been calling him " Fat Back" anyhow, I know how important it is for them to not be overweight. SO my question is How much do you feed your bigger dogs,, a day. Bailey has never been one to eat when I put the food out,, he picks all day,,or sometimes I notice he will eat the entire bowl, then not even go near it for hours.
He is probably pushing 13 pounds,, and still very solid and muscular, but his back is getting a little wide.
So how much do you feed your bigg'ens?
