i think it's true of any forum. i belong to several and on each one there are always those people who love to stir up trouble by asking questions that they know are going to upset the "long timers."
for instance like on my soap making forum asking about coloring soap with wax crayons...LOL that question alone will end up being a loooong thread with alot of fighting among members.

any forum is going to have the troublemakers.... just like real life.
