I was putting CO on it, and this morning I put some on again, looked the same. Once I got to the vet and showed him, the black dot had popped out and looked like a huge sesame seed! I wonder why it decided to pop out then, it had been on her so long already! Yuck!

Maybe you suffocated it with the CO?
