The same thing happened to me....Bella was chewing on the brand new nylabone and I looked down and there on the floor was a tooth. It was the tooth next to the eye tooth. It broke off and there is still part of it in her gums. My husband thinks it is just a baby tooth but I don't know for sure. It doesn't seem to bother her...she is drinking and eating. I am in Florida now and am hoping it doesn't bother her while we are here. I love our vet at home and trust her...here I have not had that much luck with the vet. I brush her teeth everyday and am using an antiseptic mouth wash. Hopefully that will help. I couldn't believe she broke her tooth on a nylabone.
