I don't care what kind of mosquito control you have, there will always be mosquitos. To refer to it as a natural way to prevent heartworms in dogs is misleading. It might make sitting out in your yard a bit more pleasant, but it won't prevent heartworms in your dogs.

The only way to prevent heartworms is to use heartworm preventatives or live somewhere where there are no mosquitos. If you live in LA or TX or states like them, your dogs will always be at high risk.
