Help!

Hi all, I'm new to this forum. Spencer is 11 months old and I'm having a tough time with him. I have allowed him to sleep in my bed at night -- and all was fine until last night when he learned to jump off of the bed.... He then goes straight to the laundry basket and chews on my socks! If I put him back on the bed and tell him "shhh.. quiet, it's night-night time"... He jumps back off of the bed and continues playing.

I ended up putting him in his pen (which has water, toys, a bed and his litter box... he whined for a while and then fell asleep. I feel guilty leaving him there overnight as he is in there ALL DAY while I'm at work...

I just ordered another pen to add on to the existing one to give him more space to play while I'm at work.

Any ideas on bed time and where I should leave him at night? I'm thinking my bed is no longer a good place for him (sadly).

Should I put him in my room and in a pen? (actually, I have carpet on my bedroom floor and wouldn't want any "accidents"...

Any suggestions would be GREAT!

Thanks in advance!
Caroline (and Spencer!)
