So if a dog isn't a finished champion he doesn't care if things are done properly? I usually don’t tell people to find another vet, but this guy sounds like he charges based on what people are willing to pay, and I can understand giving some people a break, but it sounds like he’s willing to gouge you! You're in Canada, so the prices could be different, but I thought $300-500 is common.
