Throwd off? LOL.
Ok, the text is EEEEEASSSYY trust me. First start by starting a new file. Click File, click New. Ok, then make it have a "transparent" back and make it like 125x125 or whatever you prefer. Click the "T" in the lefthand control panel and then click on your blank new file. Type whatever you want it to say. For example "Chanel". When you're done, go to the Layers window and right click on the text layer that says "Chanel" and choose "Layer Style" and then "Blending Options".
There is a myriad of things you can do to your text but I have my favorites such as "Bevel and Emboss" or "Outer Glow" or Stroke, down at the bottom, I love. On the "Stroke" menu, you can make it thick or thin and also you can choose whether you want a single color line around your text, or you want that line INSIDE your text or in the center (I like it on the outside usually) and you can also choose a gradient, down at the bottom of the stroke menu so that the line around the text will be varied in color. Pretty neat, I think!
Ok play with that a while and get back to me and we'll go from there! Villette, this is your homework! Michelle, you too girl!
