I do understand your comment on putting other dogs down. My floppy eared fellow is on the higher end of the standard, weighing in at 7 lbs. at a yorkie meetup there were only tiny yorkies and the owners did not allow their dogs to play with mine. It was so sad and it made me feel horrible.
Oh I didn't notice this until DBlain quoted it. I can't believe that happened. Were they really concerned about their dog's well being, or were they being snobby? Joey plays with dogs that are 20 pounds, I can't imagine being worried about a dog 2 pounds over him. Sounds like these aren't people you'd want as friends anyone. I'm so sorry that happend to you.
