It looks like I am going to find out what it is like to have 3 little ones in the house. I have a 9 month old Westie and a 6 1/2 month old Yorkie. They can be a handful as the Westie is very hyper. Never still a moment. Jasmine, my Yorkie is much quieter when she is by herself but as soon as the Westie, Duffy, comes in she is pretty wild too.
My daughter is getting a divorce and moving out of her house as they are selling it. She may have to move into an apartment for the time being. Her teenage daughter has a 6 1/2 old Yorkie (Murphy) who may not be able to live with them for while as all the apartments they have looked at do not allow pets. Tori would be heartbroken if she had to give him up permanently. It's going to be really hard on her to give him up even for a while, so of course, Grandma (me) offered to keep him until they are permanently settled in a house. It could take up to 6 months. Murphy and Jasmine are neither one completely housebroken so this will be a challenge, but I would do anything for my Grandchildren.
I still work full time. My husband is retired, but doesn't remember to take them out as often as I do when I am home. At least he is home with them most of the time and they are a lot of company for him. |
