If there is any salt being put down outside, it can really dry their paw pads out. Might want to wipe her paws off with a baby wipe or damp washcloth after going outside. Heck, just being winter time, there is less humidity and I know my skin is drier too. I wonder if they are just naturally toughening up a little now that she's older and going outside more, running around more, etc.?
