I get the goop out of their eyes and redo their topknots daily or every other day. They are brushed frequently so it's a commitment on my part. As for the nails, Daisy's (maltese) is easy since it's clear but for Tessa (yorkie) I clip along the curve of her nails. It takes some practice and diligence. You may want to invest in some quality grooming tools as well. As for anal expression, I wouldn't mess with it unless his stool is consistently soft or you've witnessed him scooting his rump across the floor. lol.
