Good for you! It is really great how you and your husband are living a healthy lifestyle and taking on this new challenge. I didn't start running until I was around 45 and it was just because I wanted to try something different. Let me tell you, it's addictive and habit forming - but in a good way! I've run over 60 races including 2 full marathons and 14 half marathons.

By the way, if you ever have any questions or are looking for a great group of runners/walkers to connect with, there's a wonderful forum called RunningMania. You'll find a wealth of information there for runners/walkers of all levels - plus the members are fun and welcoming. If you need motivation, help with your training, have questions, or even just want to hang out with some great like-minded people, it's the place to be!

Anyway, you're in my thoughts. It will be a great adventure and I'm proud of you for going for it! I'm wishing you all the best in your first marathon - that's very exciting! You go, girl!
