Thanks, I am taking her to the vet tomorrow. I researched a bit last night and it seems that while 4 months is very early, first heat is very dependent on how fast the dog grows to their adult size. As I mentioned Tara has grown REALLY fast. We were surprised because her father was 4 lbs and her mother was 6 1/2 lbs, and shes almost her mothers weight now at 4 months! Maybe shes just matured early because she had her big growth spurt early ::shrugs:: At any rate we re going to get her checked out.
