 Update
Hi everyone. It's been a while since I last wrote. Thank you all so very much for your kind words and prayers. Unfortunately, my neighbors did not cooperate the way I hoped they would. We went ahead and gave them the bill of sale for what we paid for our sweet Charlie, along with the medical bill. That did not go over well with them. They were upset that we called animal control and that they had to pay the city for the citations they got. So we had to go to court and file a law suit against them.
On to some better news... I am so appreciative of all your comforting advice and loving thoughts. That really means a lot to me. I am thankful to God that as i write this, my heart is beginning to heal. Well, we got another puppy! His name is Peanut and he has helped us through this difficult time. Our house was just not the same without a dog. We missed Charlie so very much and wanted another little furbaby to love. I have to say, the first few days with Peanut were pretty rough. I cried a lot because he reminded me of my baby, but I am so thankful to have him in our lives. We tell him about his big brother often. My heart still has an emptiness for Charlie, I still miss him so much! I look at his pictures daily. I miss my sweet boy. I often ask God to give him a kiss for me and blow kisses to heaven. I can't tell you guys thank you enough, yorkie talk has been a huge help. Thanks for listening and understanding. |
