Having 2 teenage children myself, I would NEVER yell at you or call the police for you correcting my children...I would simply whip their rears and ground them! Of course, I would like to think I have also taught my children more respect and manners than to say anything rude and disrepectful to anyone (pet or human)...It all goes back to the parenting!! You did nothing wrong!!
