The breeder started her on the soft food when she weaned her. She has a tiny mouth and teeth but loves to chomp on the hard food. It is Purina Beneful for Puppies. Comes in little pieces and different colors. They must taste different because she sorts through them and picks ones she likes to eat first. The Vet suggested Iams and gave me a large promotional box but then I know how that goes with salesmen at vets and doctors offices.I don't know if she would eat anything else now and she seems to be doing well. The treats from my sons Vet are mostly chicken, small and moist but I only want for when I start to train her. I ask everyone what they feed their dog and come up with many different answers. Thanks for your reply. I wish they gave a tiny bag of sample to let your dog try lol. They give us samples at grocery stores.
