I'm glad the appt. went well. I completely agree with you. It comes to a point where the dogs wellbeing and happiness is more important. I wouldn't withhold her for being a normal dog, either. As you said before, she was already pretty depressed from being penned up for as long as she has been. I'd maybe be a little more conscious but wouldn't stop her from being a normal dog, either.
