When we lived in CO, I would first put Toto in a little pair of her jammies or long johns, then her boots and last her little suede coat or one of her hoody coats. When she was finished playing outside we would bring her in, strip off all her clothes and wrap her in a warm towel for a little nap. When she woke she would be toasty warm, dry and I would then slip her into a little shirt for inside. Thank God for pee pee pad training ... don't think I would have liked this routine every time she had to potty!
