Michele you are correct in how the Gamma Knife is used
procedure. It's a wonderful advancement in treatment in many otherwise inoperable tumors of the BRAIN. The device has been around for many years and is now available at many hospitals around the United States. There are always cutting edge treatments available but that does not mean they will apply to the type of cancer you are facing or your treatment plan. This is a decision that needs to be discussed with your team of healthcare workers. But this goes without saying because you are in very good hands
