My pup went to work with me one day when he was 9 weeks old. I worked only that afternoon - and he visited, licked, and slept the whole time.
A few weeks later when he went back and was hell on wheels and drove everyone crazy.
Now everyone is begging me to bring him in again.
My pup also met every dog in the family before he was 10 weeks old and loved and played with every one of them.
I guess I'm just not much of a worrier. But then - that's me - everyone is different!
If our little pups are a decent size, have good appetites, and are healthy (and are getting the shots and care they need) - I really don't think they are as fragile as some of us think. A healthy little Yorkie is a robust little terrier. I need to protect mine more from himself than I need to from anything else. (Of course, I have a 5 1/4 pound 17-month old.)
My real concerns are keeping him from jumping out of my arms - trying to keep him from jumping through the air off something that is like a 5-story building to him, making sure he doesn't run up to a strange dog - and being very very careful that he doesn't get loose outside because he can run a hundred times faster than I can.
I'm sure I might worry more - if I had one of the tiny tiny little dogs that some of you have.
