Rowdy started around 4-5 months and then only occasionally. He did have a spell of barking at us when we were not cooperating. We corrected that, he stopped and now really pretty much only barks at the lab next door - but that is A LOT, unfortunately. The lab barks at everything and Rowdy rears up on the fence and barks at him. I'm working on getting Rowdy to stop or tone it down. He knows I don't like it and when I am in the room, he does not run out (the doggy door) and bark. But when he doesn't see me, he will do it. All I have to do is go to the door and he stops and comes in.
Anyway, I really would't call him a "barker" - he's pretty quiet at all other times.
